Mission
CPPHSAA Inc. is organized as a (501)(c)(3) nonprofit corporation exclusively for charitable, educational, and community purposes of promoting fellowship and school spirit amongst Corning-Painted Post (C-PP) school alumni by facilitating communication among alumni and supporting alumni activities. This will be accomplished by establishing and maintaining a communicative relationship with Corning-Painted Post School District (C-PPSD) to ensure a bidirectional flow of information regarding alumni, school history, and the New York State educational system. These purposes are accomplished by the following goals:
Goal #1 – Communication: Developing and maintaining a system of communication among alumni, committees for reunion and event planning, CPPHSAA Inc. and the C-PP community through:
- establishing and maintaining web sites
- establishing and maintaining databases
- employing all forms of communication.
Goal #2 – Information Coordination: Developing and maintaining an infrastructure of data, history, and advice to establish avenues for information exchange among alumni, committees for reunion and event planning, and CPPHSAA Inc.
Goal #3 – Community Connections: Encouraging opportunities to maintain a connection to the community for alumni through programs for educational assistance, scholarships, mentoring reunion and event planning committees, promoting the C-PP region; and preserving the history of C-PPSD.
Goal #4 – Charitable Actions: Assisting alumni and/or reunion and event planning committees in charitable activities including but not limited to: fund raising events and campaigns, scholarships, monetary awards, or other philanthropic activities.
Goal #5 – Collaboration: Developing and maintaining relationships with educational and commercial entities such as but not limited to C-PPSD, Corning Inc. or post secondary educational systems.
